UPDATE 1: Publix #1549 is going to open by August 2019 and all signs that say Publix are now up. UPDATE 2: This store will open on August 29, 2019. Publix #1549 on 1105 Twiggs Street in Tampa is opening soon! Construction was supposed to start in 2015 and end in 2017, but it was delayed. 1549 is store number that Publix assigned and dates to 2017, and is not in the 1600 series. Construction started 2 years late and the new Channel Club Publix will open in 2019. (February 20, 2019) (May 29, 2019) (July 13, 2019)

Publix #310 3615 W Gandy Blvd, Tampa, FL - Gandy Shopping Center Originally opened in 1954 as an art-deco store, and closed in 1983. The new Publix, store 310, opened in 1985 as a replacement for the Britton Plaza Publix. See AFB's version of Publix #310 and Albertsons #4436 by clicking  here . The outside is original, except for some repainting. This Publix was the first to be built in the "split-vestibule" model. This is the left side door. Entry vestibule, with the shopping carts, and the "Welcome to Publix" sign. The pharmacy is in it's original location, and was remodeled in 2014. The store's Publix Bakery. Aisle 18 is the store's final aisle. Produce is located in the left corner of the store. In the 2000's stores, produce got moved to the right corner of the store. Wine is located to the left, and the grocery aisles are to the right. Aisle 10 is the first frozen foods aisle.

Walmart just introduced new aisle signage for mobile app customers in October 2018. The new aisle sign is to the left, and the 2008-2018 aisle sign is to the right. Which aisle sign do you like? Comment below!
