I revisited Publix #1681 (a 48M store with the Evergreen Environment Package), and I saw a couple of new things. The info cards at the doors have been updated into the August 2022 Evergreen version. This picture was taken from store 1808 in Tampa since I do not have the ones from this store. The welcome sign now has the words "Welcome to your Publix" instead of just "Welcome". It's been this way since mid-2020, although I didn't get a picture of it back then. The customer service area has had pickup signage since 2021. New self-checkouts that are similar to store 1808, in addition to a directional sign to the seating area on the second floor. Another view of store 1681's eight self-checkouts, which includes three express lanes. The main section of health/beauty products is on aisles 13 and 14. Any products that do not fit in the main aisles are found in secondary aisles next to the pharmacy. The express lane sign in the regular checkouts remains unchange...

When you think Publix, you might think of green and gray, but this post has something different for the new stores! Also includes the Home Centric as a bonus. A parting image of the two Publix stores, the new one (1681) and the old (315). Publix #1681 shown 4 days before opening. We will get to that store after we visit the old one. Former Publix #315/Future LA Fitness 855 E. Bloomingdale Ave, Brandon, FL. - Bloomingdale Square This Publix opened in 1986 along with Walmart as another primary anchor. Store 315 closed on January 15, 2020 after 34 years at this location. This store's last remodel was Bamboo in 2011, replacing the Kiwi interior. This store's outside look is all 1980's.
