The Two Apollo Beach Winn-Dixie's and Mira Bay Village
After taking a Hawaii trip to Walgreens, we are back in Florida for a look at the two Apollo Beach Winn-Dixie stores! First, we will start with the old store. Former Winn-Dixie #673 6188 North US Highway 41, Apollo Beach, FL Winn-Dixie #673 opened in 1998 as a replacement for a former Winn-Dixie located where the Publix is at now. This store received it's only remodel around 2010, which might have moved the entrance and exit doors, but I am unsure. Closed on April 30, 2018 after 20 years in operation. The store currently sits vacant after Southeastern Grocers declared bankruptcy. After looking at the old Winn-Dixie, we are now at the relocation/replacement store, a former Sweetbay Supermarket, but the tour does not start here.
