Winn-Dixie #2444 - Ruskin, FL

Kash n' Karry #848 & #1761/Sweetbay #1761/Winn-Dixie #2444/Future Aldi 1023 N. Tamiami Trail, Ruskin, FL Originally opened on April 6, 1974 as Kash n' Karry store 848 (later 1761), being the first major supermarket in the Ruskin area (and was their 36th location at the time). There was also a Food Lion located 1 mile to the north that existed from 1993 to 2001 in the same plaza as former Kmart #7517 (1982–2003). At 36,426 square feet (not 23,800 square feet on the AFB post), this KNK had several full-service departments ranging from bakery, deli, and meats along with an additional Kare Drugs pharmacy! The 3 former Gandy Winn-Dixie stores - Tampa, FL

Winn-Dixie/Jan Kaminis Platt Regional Libary 3910 S. Manhattan Ave, Tampa, FL Opening date for the former Winn-Dixie is unknown. Closed in 1996 to relocate to 4479 W. Gandy Blvd. Rebuilt in 2000 and became the Jan Kaminis Platt Regional Library. Winn-Dixie #643/Grace Family Church 4479 W. Gandy Blvd, Tampa, FL Opened in 1996 as Winn-Dixie #643 (the second Gandy Winn-Dixie), and closed in 2005 after the bankruptcy of Winn-Dixie Stores. Became Grace Family Church in 2016. Compare this outside look to the liquor store, which still has the diamonds from Winn-Dixie! Winn-Dixie Liquors/Amscot #21 4481 W. Gandy Blvd, Tampa, FL Opened in 1996 as Winn-Dixie Liquors, and closed in 2005, the same year when the main store closed. Currently Amscot #21. The diamonds from Winn-Dixie are still in place! A Modern Winn-Dixie - Tampa, FL (CVS included!)

Swann Ave, Tampa, FL Opened on March 11, 1993 as Kash n' Karry #722 (later store #1748) being the first full-service supermarket in the Hyde Park area until the addition of Publix stores 628 in 1998 and 1182 in 2008 (the former GreenWise Market), and was also one of their flagship stores (a status retained by Sweetbay and Winn-Dixie). Between 1996 and 1997, this location was expanded, which resulted in the addition of a liquor store. In 2004, it was announced that Delhaize America (now known as Ahold Delhaize) would convert all of the remaining Kash n' Karry stores into Sweetbay Supermarkets.
