Remodeled Aldi! - Brandon, FL

Publix #128-1/Winn-Dixie #615/Aldi #43 & HomeGoods #421 1945 West Lumsden Road, Brandon, FL - Brandon Centre South Originally opened as the first Publix #128 in 1987 and closed on January 20, 1999 when store 663 was built 0.7 miles to the west. Later became Winn-Dixie #615 from 2000 or 2001 to 2005 when the store was one of the 257 closed locations as a result of Winn-Dixie's bankruptcy. Later subdivided into an Aldi and HomeGoods in 2009. Aldi in Brandon was remodeled 1 month ago, even though that the now open signs are still in place. Also, this is the new Aldi design used for new and remodeled locations only. Aldi uses a German-style quarter system for all of the shopping carts with the Aldi logo. After the Aldi was remodeled, the entrance was reconfigured. Former Albertsons #4334 and Aldi Food Market - Brandon, FL

Aldi Food Market 620-B E. Brandon Blvd, Brandon, FL Originally a portion of former Albertsons #4334, this Aldi opened in 2008. The exterior was redone by Aldi. This layout of the enter and exit doors are typical for most Aldi stores built since the mid-2000's. "ENTER" says the left entrance door. Let's head inside to look around at Aldi's! After entering and looking to the left, a welcome sign is visible. Aldi Fresh is the name of the store's produce department. The store's first aisle, with dairy located at the end of the aisle. 6 checkouts are found at this Aldi store, and only 2 are open!
