Former Albertsons #4334 and Aldi Food Market - Brandon, FL

Aldi Food Market
620-B E. Brandon Blvd, Brandon, FL

Originally a portion of former Albertsons #4334, this Aldi opened in 2008.

The exterior was redone by Aldi.

This layout of the enter and exit doors are typical for most Aldi stores built since the mid-2000's.

"ENTER" says the left entrance door. Let's head inside to look around at Aldi's!

After entering and looking to the left, a welcome sign is visible.

Aldi Fresh is the name of the store's produce department.

The store's first aisle, with dairy located at the end of the aisle.

6 checkouts are found at this Aldi store, and only 2 are open!

Now leaving the Aldi portion of the store, but there is more in this post, so don't change websites!

Albertsons #4334/Super Saver #1526
620-A E. Brandon Blvd, Brandon, FL

Opened in 1979 as Albertsons #4334. Closed in 2005 to convert into Super Saver #1526, a warehouse-style discount store that had a similar feel to BJ's Wholesale, Costco, and Sam's Club. Closed in 2006 after only a year in operation and currently remains vacant.

These are the river rock walls that were used in the Skaggs and Trapezoid models of Albertsons stores.

The vacant entrance of the former Albertsons. Former store hours: 6am to 11pm 7 days a week. The approximate pharmacy hours: 6am to 8pm Mon-Fri, 6am to 7pm Saturday, and Noon to 4pm Sunday.

Here is an original Enter decal that was left from Albertsons and Super Saver.

Peeking through one of the windows, we can see remnants of the Grocery Palace interior, which means that this store was remodeled between 1999 and 2001. While I did not look inside the former liquor store, it may have looked like this.

This will conclude our tour of former Albertsons #4334.
