Former Publix #359 and the replacement - Brooksville, FL

Former Publix #359
13090 (now 13094 to 13110) Cortez Blvd, Spring Hill, FL - Mariner Square

Opened on September 29, 1988 as a split-vestibule Publix store with no pharmacy. The original tenants of Mariner Square were Wal-Mart #1213 (1) (now a Bealls, 13190 Cortez Blvd) and a vacant Walgreens (13088 Cortez Blvd), which later moved across the street to 13053 Cortez Blvd in 2001. Wal-Mart relocated to new store #1213 (2) at 13300 Cortez Blvd in September 1996, being the first Supercenter in Hernando County.

See this link for a similar split-vestibule store that is the same as #359, but with a pharmacy.

Due to Walmart's success, Winn-Dixie #648 in the Western Way Plaza closed in April 1998, and Publix #359 closed on January 23, 2002 with store #813 being it's replacement. The former Winn-Dixie is now split between Save A Lot and Bealls Outlet.

The former Publix space was split into a Ross Dress For Less and Shoe Carnival in 2003.
