Wendy's - Riverview, FL. (Gibsonton & 301)

Image
Wendy's #8902 10529 Gibsonton Drive, Riverview, FL. Opened in 2002 as a mansard roof style Wendy's restaurant, and was renovated in 2014 to the current design. The placement of the entrance is original from 2002, with some modifications made in 2014. This will also be my final post before summer break starts in late June. Welcome to Wendy's in Riverview! Looking at the interior of a modern Wendy's restaurant. This type of design uses a one way enter/exit system for ordering food, as indicated by that Start Here sign. Here is the primary Wendy's menu, used as a reference. This corridor leads to the restrooms, which again, the placement is original to 2002. Newer Wendy's restaurants have these Coke Freestyle machines. The interface is what I call version 3, used from 2019 to present. An example of one of the drink selection options on the machine. These tables are used for eating your breakfast/lunch/dinner, etc. There is...

Steak 'n Shake has your answer! Now entering through this door, the 2315 above is the address. Welcome to Steak 'n Shake! First, you are greeted with the checkout area after you pass through the doors. Now this is a retro store! From the neon lights to the checkerboard tiles, this is a Steak 'n Shake! Looking towards the opposite direction from one of the tables. It is now time to eat! I got a macaroni and cheese kids meal with fries. In sight, it must be right since 1934! PDQ - Tampa, FL (Westchase)

Image
PDQ - Westchase 8730 West Linebaugh Avenue, Tampa, FL - Marketplace at Citrus Park This PDQ restaurant opened on December 17, 2017, and was one of the first with the new look, even though that the new slogan was first used in early 2016. The full PDQ menu, as seen before you order through the payment station. The same PDQ menu as before, only in a condensed version. Now for some interior views of the restaurant itself! This is completely different than the flagship PDQ in South Tampa , which opened in 2011. That's 6 years of using the previous Wendy's style design! The Coke Freestyle machines is where you can get any beverage from The Coca-Cola Company. After viewing the restaurant, it is now time to eat food! I got my 3 piece chicken tender meal with fries. And this is not actual football! One last view of the interior before we head out. Our final view of this new PDQ is the entire length of the building.

Chick-fil-A - Oldsmar 3740 Tampa Rd, Oldsmar, FL Opened in 2002, and was remodeled in May 2018. The main road sign for Chick-fil-A, facing Tampa Road. The white space is used for promotional advertisements, on these older-style Changeable Message signs. Close-up of the Chick-fil-A logo on the right side of the building. The front side of the building, with the Chick-fil-A play area, and the front entrance door located straight ahead. The new 3740 on the door indicated that a remodel is complete! Let's head inside for the full treatment! I don't know how to call this CFA logo, but I will name it transparent. This is seen after you enter through the side doors. Advertising for a new Chick-fil-A menu item, Macaroni and Cheese! Available as a side or as a substitute for fries. Not too bad for a $3 or $9 item! The entire lunch/dinner menu, served from 10:30 AM to 5:00 AM the next day. Breakfast is served from 5:00 AM to ...
