Stepping away from Publix #91 in Miami Beach, this blog post features a modern Publix store!

This Publix opened on October 8, 2020 as a newer 54M store at 54,965 square feet.

Store 1711 coexists with #1032 two miles to the north.

Welcome to Publix #1711! With an October 2020 opening date, this is one of the last 54M Publix stores to open with the Sienna interior, because coming up are hints of the new Evergreen interior.

See that customer service desk? It's in the Sienna design, but slightly modified for Publix's Evergreen look.

Another hint of the Evergreen interior is the "where shopping is a pleasure" text in the dining room.

Now this is one spacious produce department! The 2014 to 2019 49M stores and the 2011 to present 54M/56M stores have this design for produce products.

The Publix bakery is off to the right side of the deli department, which is in a similar location to the early 2000's stores.

Another look at produce and floral, but this time it's from the store's bakery.

Pictured here is Publix's wine department, which got the standard flat design as opposed to the circular variant.

The second aisle in the store is home to candies, canned fruits, and beverages.

Frozen foods are located along aisles 8 and 9, but only the first one (8) is shown.

Now looking towards aisles 11 to 15 in the store. Dairy is visible to my right, and also at the end of aisle 15.

The Publix pharmacy has a mix of Sienna (layout) and Evergreen interiors (signage).

Aisle 14 has health and beauty products in a regular grocery aisle. The rest can be found at the pharmacy.

Aisle 15 has some more health/beauty products and is also the last aisle.

Signage for checkouts 5 to 8 (9 is not shown), and the 6 self lanes. There are a total of 15 checkouts in store 1711.

And finally, here is a picture of the pharmacy drive-thru. In order to access it, you have to go around the liquor store until you see another roadway.
