2 YEARS OF GTB RETAIL: Sam's Club #6403 (Brandon)

On this 2nd anniversary of the GTB Area Retail Blog, we are traveling to the census designated place of Brandon, Florida for a Sam's Club store!

A newly-installed street sign featuring the Sam's Club cardmember price of their gasoline.

Sam's Club #6403
2021 W. Brandon Blvd, Brandon, FL.

This Sam's Club opened in 1993 and is a typical late 1990's/early 2000's store.

These are the Pickup spots where you order from the website and then pick it up here.

The entrance is straight ahead, while that blank part of the sign used to say digital photo.

The main entrance into Sam's Club.

Turning left after you enter through those doors is the auto center, guest services, and the vision center.

Here is a typical Sam's Club checkout. We'll get to the remaining ones when we are done.

If I am correct, these stairs to the second floor lead to employee offices and break rooms.

Signage for restrooms and the bakery as viewed from the pharmacy.

The pharmacy is located after you see those second floor stairwells and before the restrooms.

The Sam's Club deli department, this section has rotisserie chicken.

A gas leak alarm used for the refrigerators in the dairy department.

Sam's Club also offers scan and go technology, just scan the barcode and skip the checkout lines!

A look at the aisles to the left, with floral being straight ahead.

Checkouts 1 to 6 are regular checkouts, while 7 to 12 are what appears to be self-checkouts?

A Sam’s Club gas price for members seen before you exit the store. These were the prices for October 3, 2020.

And to conclude our 2nd anniversary post, here is a picture of the loading area. This is not a dedicated pickup section, unlike the curbside lanes.
