Publix opened their first Georgia location (store #412) on November 20, 1991. That store lasted for 14 years until closing in 2005. Being a 70,000 square foot location, this is a larger-format early 1990's Publix supermarket. The normal stores would have been in the 45,000 to 50,000 square-foot range.
