After 10 years in the making, the new Channelside Publix is now open! Here are photos of the new store: Publix #1549 1105 E. Twiggs St, Tampa, FL This Publix opened on August 29, 2019 after multiple construction delays at the site of the store. Groundbreaking was done in 2015, with store 1549 not starting construction until 2017. 1549 is a 2017 store number, and because this Publix opened in 2019, Publix did not assign a 16xx store number.
