BONUS POST: Brandon Regional Hospital (Oakfield and Parsons) - Brandon, FL

Brandon Regional Hospital is located at 119 Oakfield Drive, Brandon, FL and opened in 1977.

Part 1: The South Parking Garage

The south garage has 6 floors, with floors 2 to 6 for parking, and level 1 for drop-off. Completed in 1996. All opening dates are approximate.

This is the south garage, looking at level 4. You can also see levels 3 and 5.

From level 5, you can see the ramps (up and down) from the garage.

I count 7 floors in Tower A in the southern portion of the hospital. This is the right side of the building.

At the bottom is a fire exit, and up above is Tower A.

There are 2 sets of elevators located in the south parking garage. This is from level 5, about to go down to level 1.

Part 2: Towers A to C

C.V.I.C.U. and Surgery Waiting rooms are straight ahead. This is from one of the walkways.

Make a left turn for Surgery and the C.V.I.C.U.

C.V.I.C.U. is straight ahead.

Registration and the Tower A Lobby are straight ahead, along with the cafeteria. Turn right for elevators.

The elevators and restrooms are coming up on your left, or for the cafeteria and towers B and C, turn left.

If I am correct, this is a surgery pre-OP room. Stations 1 to 7 are to the left. Straight ahead is Tower B.

Now we are at Tower B. Straight ahead is the emergency department, and to access Pediatric ER, turn left.

Now leaving Towers C and B, and heading for Tower A via this walkway.

Now we are in Tower A at the hospital. Registration, the ICU, elevators, and surgery waiting are all straight ahead.

Make a left turn for Tower A and all rooms.

Now approaching Tower A's main lobby.

Part 3: The North Parking Garage


Opened in 1977, and is the original parking garage at Brandon Regional Hospital. Maximum clearance is 13 feet, and maximum vehicle weight is 8000 pounds. That is a difference of 5 feet 8 inches from Tower A's parking garage!
