The entire plaza (Carrollwood Shopping Center) opened in 1997, but Eckerd did not open until around 1998, along with a Publix (store #840). All Eckerd drugstores in Florida closed in 2004, when most locations were sold to CVS or closed outright. This location decided to close and wait. Rare Hues (a modern vintage market/furniture store) opened in the 2010’s.
