3,000 pageviews special: Dollar General #15027 - Tampa, FL

Thank you for 3,000 pageviews since the starting of the GTB Area Retail Blog (formerly The Jaxcrodian Retail Blog) in November 2018! To celebrate, I will be posting a store that is similar to Family Dollar and the $1 store called Dollar Tree, Dollar General!

Dollar General #15027
12909 N. 56th St, Tampa, FL

This Dollar General store opened in 2014.

The outside is mostly the same for all 2010's built Dollar General stores during this era.

Dollar General's entrance and exit doors. The "enter and exits combined into one" is similar to a 2000's Kash n' Karry store (see Winn-Dixie #2475 for more on a former Kash n' Karry).

The cart storage area can hold only 5 or 6 carts, compared to Publix, which can hold 25+ carts in one area! Seen above the yellow carts is a sign that reads: "More deals for your dollar. Every Day!"

To the right is aisle 7, which is a store-within-a-store aisle with $1 deals. Straight ahead is aisle 17.

This photo easily shows Dollar General's short aisles in the store. The aisles are not as wide as Publix or Winn-Dixie.

This is aisle 20, home to household supplies.

Aisles 10 to 14 and aisles 19 to 23 are split in this part of the store.

Because this store is so small, there is only room for 2 checkouts! This is a sign for checkout 2 in the store.

A typical exit sign is seen above the front doors, but for those old Dollar General fanatics, there is more in the post!

This is a Dollar General truck, complete with the company's longtime, old logo before the rebrand.

Thank you for 3,000 pageviews, and we look forward for another 3,000!
