Former Winn-Dixie #615/Aldi & HomeGoods #421 1945 West Lumsden Road, Brandon, FL - Brandon Centre South Opened in the late 1990's as Winn-Dixie #615. Closed in 2005 when this store was one of the 257 affected by Winn-Dixie's bankruptcy. Later subdivided into an Aldi store and a HomeGoods, which opened in 2009. Aldi in Brandon was remodeled 1 month ago, even though that the now open signs are still in place. Also, this is the new Aldi design used for new and remodeled locations only. Aldi uses a German-style quarter system for all of the shopping carts with the Aldi logo. After the Aldi was remodeled, the entrance was reconfigured. The two outside doors were converted to one, and what are now windows used to be the entrance into the store before it was moved off to the right. PDQ - Westchase 8730 West Linebaugh Avenue, Tampa, FL - Marketplace at Citrus Park This PDQ restaurant opened on December 17, 2017, and was one of the first with the new look, even though that the new slogan was first used in early 2016. The full PDQ menu, as seen before you order through the payment station. The same PDQ menu as before, only in a condensed version. Now for some interior views of the restaurant itself! This is completely different than the flagship PDQ in South Tampa , which opened in 2011. That's 6 years of using the previous Wendy's style design! The Coke Freestyle machines is where you can get any beverage from The Coca-Cola Company. After viewing the restaurant, it is now time to eat food! I got my 3 piece chicken tender meal with fries. And this is not actual football! One last view of the interior before we head out. Our final view of this new PDQ is the entire length of the building.

Let's take a trip down Linebaugh Avenue to the only Publix in the Westchase area! Publix #627 12139 West Linebaugh Avenue, Tampa, FL Publix #627 opened on March 12, 1998. The outside was given a repaint in 2018 which resulted in the removal of the DELI and BAKERY signs outside the store to make room for a BayCare sign. Publix, don't go towards the light! This rainy day resulted in the windows being covered with mist. Also note the duct tape placed around the Presto ATM camera. Welcome to Publix #627! But before we enter the store, I have one more thing to show you related to 1998... The word ENTRANCE in the Gill Sans Condensed Extra Bold font!
