The Two Brandon Targets, Part 1 - Target #812

Target #812
187 Brandon Town Center Dr, Brandon, FL - Plaza at Brandon Town Center

Target #812 opened on July 26, 1992.

1992 was a big year for Target in the state of Florida, as the year marked the very first openings of ground-up Target stores. Target stores that opened prior to 1992 were in former Richway, Gold Triangle, or Gold Circle stores. Those stores were purchased by Target in 1988. This store received a remodel in 2009.

The Target logo might have been originally off to the right of that beam in the blank space, which would have looked like this.

Ready to head inside for a P09 Target? Let's walk through these doors!

Heading past the enter doors, we can see the store's Starbucks to the left. I don't know if this was originally a regular Target Cafe before Starbucks moved in, but I am not 100% sure. Usually guest services would have been moved to here during the 2000's remodels.

The A section of aisles and the beauty department appear here. Before the P09 remodel, this Target opened with the P93 interior. Target has been using the Prototype [Year] format for 26 years!

A quick look at the grocery department. This store recently received an Innovation Remodel, where the gray paint is only brought to jewelry and clothing.

This Target store has a total of 12 checkouts, with three express lanes.

Thank you for visiting a P09 Target store on this GTB Retail blog post!
