Walmart #3418 - Wesley Chapel, FL

Walmart #3418
28500 State Road 54, Wesley Chapel, FL

Opened on August 13, 2014 as Walmart #3418. Construction was supposed to start in 2008, but it was delayed by 6 years due to the Great Recession.

This entrance is unmarked, but it would be the Home & Pharmacy side of the Walmart Supercenter.

I have never seen a 2010's built Walmart in person, so let's enter through these doors!

What you see after entering through the left side doors. There are 24 checkouts, and 8 or 12 self lanes. Also, a Christmas tree!

Did you know that this fire alarm speaker doubles as a regular announcement and music speaker? If someone pages an announcement, then this would sound a short tone for 1 second. If someone activates the fire alarm pull station, or if one of the smoke detectors detect fire, or the drill button on the control panel is pushed, then this would sound three beeps in a pattern (3 beeps, pause, repeats) with the fire light flashing, along with a voice message. This is only seen in most Walmart stores built from 2008 to present date.

This is a Wheelock S8 (model S8-24MCC-FW) speaker, currently manufactured by Eaton Corporation.

Looking towards the store's deli section from produce. This store has the Project Impact 4.0 interior, which debuted in 2014.

New yellow markers appear overhead through the grocery aisles. These are aisles A20 to A32.

Aisles in the pets department. If you walk down further, you will reach the electronics department.

The separation between regular aisles and clothing appear here. Straight ahead are the main checkouts.

Do you want to watch a movie and grab some popcorn as if you were in a cinema? Come to aisles A25 and A26 to grab your favorite movie, and then purchase at checkout. Afterwards, turn on your Blu-ray player and watch the movie!

Aisles H51 and H52 are to the left.

One of Walmart’s toy aisle signs as seen in one of the kids toy aisles.

Walmart has a pharmacy, but it was closed when I took this picture.

One last look at the aisles before we reach the checkouts.

Examples of a Walmart checkout.

Checkout lane 14 might look as if it were closed, but it was actually open. It is probably due to my phone’s telephoto lens. (Samsung S10+)

Walmart is watching you with a big logo above the restrooms!

The back end of the main checkouts as seen from the restrooms.

This is a reminder to use your vision benefits before they expire on December 31st! In this case, they expire before 2020 starts on January 1st.

A Walmart with a Quest Diagnostics and a Pharmacy? This can only be found in Wesley Chapel!

The inside tour of Walmart #3418 is complete, but I have one more photo that is related to Walmart...

...and that is a Walmart truck as seen along I-75 North!
