Michaels (Former Phar-Mor) - Brandon, FL.
Former Phar-Mor/Michaels #9568
2564 W. Brandon Blvd, Brandon, FL. - Regency Square
Originally opened in 1986 as a Phar-Mor drug store, and closed in 2002. Currently a Michaels Arts and Crafts (store 9568), where it has remained ever since.
The exterior is original to Phar-Mor, and is also an example of 1980's architecture.
The placement of the entrances is probably original to Phar-Mor, but I am unsure. After entering through the vestibule, you have to make a left turn in order to enter the store.
Looking from aisle 68. These photos were taken about 1 month before Christmas in 2017, so you might see references to the holidays.
This is an example of an aisle at a Michaels store, I am unsure what the 2 aisle numbers are.
The section on the right is home to items on clearance, and the left section is probably home to planners?
Cutting tools and sewing is on the left of the middle section. Aisles 62 and 60 are to my right.
Sections of photo frames in the Brandon Michaels store.
Pencils and paper is located in this aisle, with fine art supplies to the rear.
Aisles 97 to 103 are home to a section of floral, and aisle 104 consists of books.
Here is the last aisle in the store, aisle 104!
One more look at the aisles before we check out...
And here are the checkout lanes! There were 5 out of 6 checkout lanes open on this day. I do not know what happened to lane 1, but I think that it was removed.
Thank you for reading a blog post about a Phar-Mor/Michaels store!
