Publix #310
3615 W. Gandy Blvd, Tampa, FL. - Gandy Shopping Center
Publix #310 opened in 1986 as a replacement for a former Art Deco store. The old store opened in 1954, and a picture can be seen below.

Store 310 is one of the first Publix supermarkets to be in the split vestibule formation. This is essentially a larger format 1980's model Publix.
A post regarding this store from January 2019 can be seen here.
Welcome to Publix #310! Grab your cart and buy 24 packs of water, now on sale!
After the August 2019 refresh, Publix added a BayCare walk-in clinic.
Store 310's updated pharmacy department.
Looking at the front end of the store. There are currently 16 checkouts after the addition of the 6 self-lanes. Former checkouts 11 and 12 were removed before the installation of the self-checkouts.
Turning the camera 180 degrees, we now have a look at the Publix bakery.
Produce is situated at the end of aisle 18 in a similar location to the smaller 1980's model stores.
The wine department is located in this alcove after the seafood department ends and before produce begins.
Even sushi gets it's own department sign, which is only found in this Publix location as I know.
The store's seafood department.
Here is a look at the back of the store with meats to my left and the main grocery aisles to my right. Straight ahead is deli and dairy.
The meat service counter, located after the deli.
Aisle 7.
The in-store Starbucks was a Publix Cafe that was a later addition to store 310.
Floral is located to the left of the Starbucks.
Here is a photo from August 2016 showing the Publix Cafe before it's conversion to a Starbucks.
Aisle 3 begins with a higher ceiling, a common trait of 1970's to 1990's model Publix stores.
The first section of the deli is home to entrees/sides. This was originally a part of the dairy department before the deli got expanded.
Dairy is located alongside aisle 1. This photo was taken at the end of aisle 3.
Section 2 of the deli is home to sandwiches, salads, and deli meats, along with the Pub Subs. This is the original section of the deli in store 310.
Added around December 2019 are the 6 self-checkouts, which replaced regular lanes 11 and 12.
Here is a photo from October 2019 showing the 12 checkouts prior to the installation of the self-lanes, which occurred 2 months later.
Looking at the front end from one of the checkouts, this shows the remaining 8 aisles in the store, starting from aisle 10.
We are already inside Publix, but I wanted to include this photo of the other entrance.
Customer service desk in store 310. You can also see the upstairs office windows above the customer service sign.
Thank you for shopping at Publix #310! This sign is located above the 3 restrooms in the store, all are located in the front near the pharmacy.
These stairs takes you to the employee's break rooms and offices, but there is no elevator here!
We will be leaving from the pharmacy side entrance, also note the 2014 to 2019 pharmacy counter.
Let’s exit through these doors for a look at the Publix liquor store!
