The Two Doctor Phillips Publix's - Orlando, FL.
Publix #741
7640 W. Sand Lake Rd, Orlando, FL. - Plaza Venezia
Publix #741 opened on November 2, 2000 and features an Italian-style exterior on the outside. This is also an example of a larger-format early 2000's Publix, or what I call the Mid-Range Model Publix.
Photos are courtesy of Random Retail's Flickr page and Albertsons Florida Blog. I have identified Random Retail with RR, and Albertsons Florida Blog with AFB.

These larger-format 2000's stores also feature a dining area with an emergency exit.
I cannot confirm if these arches are original to the Metallic Marketplace interior, or if they were added after the Invigorate remodels.

Welcome to the Publix Deli, where you can get the famous Pub Sub's, chicken wings, and many more items! Just stop by your local Publix for lunch, dinner, or an afternoon snack!
RR
The store's pharmacy department is consolidated with aisles 1 and 2. Aisle 1 only runs three-quarters of it's length due to the pharmacy. Another similar situation can be found here.
RR
In these 2000's stores, dairy is placed along the back wall. Frozen foods is located in the last 2 or 3 aisles of the store.

Aisle 15, which is an example of a frozen foods aisle, complete with the tan-colored coolers from Publix.
RR
The placement of the wine department is very similar to the 45,000 square foot model stores built during this time period.
RR
Customer service is placed right before you leave the store! As for the checkouts, there are about 10 of them in store 741.
RR
This covered parking area is used for dropping off or picking up passengers. This can also be a good idea if you are caught in a thunderstorm!
Now to the second Doctor Phillips Publix...

Former Albertsons #4387/Publix #1439
7524 Doctor Phillips Blvd, Orlando, FL. - Dr. Phillips Marketplace
Originally opened as Albertsons #4387 in 1993. Considering it's former store number of 4387, this store would have originally started construction in the 1990/1991 time frame. Albertsons stores built from 1993 to 1994 would have had store numbers from the 4400's to the 4420's.
This Albertsons building was completed as a shopping center expansion, which already had a Gooding's supermarket that opened in 1982. From 1993 to 2000, Albertsons and Gooding's coexisted with each other until that location was sold to Winn-Dixie and closed in 2001.
Albertsons remained in Doctor Phillips until 2008 when this was one of the 49 stores that was sold to Publix Super Markets. Because Publix already had store 741 down the street, Publix did not open a store here until 2013, 5 years after the sellout was complete.
AFB
The general outside look remains from this store's days as an Albertsons, but Publix reconfigured the interior layout and the entrances of the store to match the approximate layout of the Winter Park store.
Both stores are in the 49.1U model, where as store 4390 is 57,714 square feet, this store is 61,368 square feet.
AFB
Note that the location of the exit doors to outdoor seating is approximately the original placement of the entrance from Albertsons, although modified to Publix's standards after 2013.
Ready to step inside for a very large Publix supermarket?
RR
In these Publix stores, the deli is placed in an island and is divided into 3 sections, where as entrées and sides are separate.
RR
From this viewpoint, you can tell how spacious this Publix store really is!
RR
This store's layout is very similar to 49M and 54M Publix stores, with produce being placed along the grand aisle.

This store offers a cooking school as a part of the Publix Aprons branding.

The wine department is placed in the back right corner of the store.

Moving away from the grand aisle, here is the meat and seafood counters!

Due to the placement of the produce department, aisle 1 has a curved effect once you reach the end. This aisle runs 3/4's of the length of a typical Publix grocery aisle.

Moving away from aisle 1, here is a look towards the customer service counter. Straight ahead is the store’s café and beverage station. This store was rumored to get a Starbucks in 2016, but that only occurred in the Winter Park store.
AFB
Aisle 3 is home to international foods from around the globe, complete with awnings above the displays.

Frozen foods are to my right, while the pharmacy department is straight ahead.

Frozen foods have their home in aisle 7.

Aisle 10 is home to cleaning supplies.

The dairy department is situated within aisle 14, the store's last aisle.

RR
A look towards the checkouts. Due to a refresh in 2018 or 2019, Publix replaced the checkout lights and the logo with newer ones. All of the other signs remain original from 2013.

This is an example of a Publix Café along with a beverage station. Seating is placed to the right of those two sections.

Thank you for shopping at Publix #1439!
AFB
Publix did not touch the liquor store’s interior or exterior since it’s opening in 2009! The reason why I said 2009 is because Google Maps Street Views shows this liquor store being open while the main store remained vacant.

Here is a photo of what the former Gooding's and Winn-Dixie spaces look like now, subdivided between a HomeGoods and an Office Depot.
To conclude this post about the two Dr. Phillips Publix stores, here is a satellite image of Plaza Venezia and Dr. Phillips Marketplace.
